CAPE TOWN – Western Cape Premier Helen Zille explains her next move following her suspension from Democratic Alliance activities and her upcoming disciplinary hearing over her colonialism tweets.
Helen Zille faced an internal disciplinary hearing in Cape Town on Friday after being suspended from all party activities following her controversial tweets defending colonialism.
DA federal legal commission chair Glynnis Breytenbach has confirmed they did meet with Zille on Friday morning, but the matter has been postponed.
According to reports, the Premier will consult with her team of advisers regarding her next move even as more party stalwarts and oppositions calling for her ouster which led to her being suspended from all party activities by the DA.
