Jacob and Nkosazana are the new Jack and Rose.

A picture of Jacob Zuma and Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma reenacting a Titanic scene has been doing the rounds on the internet lately. And it can only be described as strange.

CAPE TOWN – The image is a version of the famous ‘I’m flying’ scene from Titanic, except it features President Jacob Zuma and his ex-wife, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.

The two are shown above the Titanic, just like Jack and Rose were in the iconic film. The only difference is the ship wasn’t sinking in the original movie poster.

The ship looks like it’s heading towards disaster (we all remember how it hit an iceberg and sank). But this doesn’t stop Dlamini-Zuma from smiling with what seems to be total satisfaction.

Doesn’t it look like she’s having a ball of a time? She must really be enjoying the ride so far.

The Zuma Titanic picture all started with EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi. He shared the photoshopped image on Twitter.

What does the picture mean though? Ndlozi thinks he has just the right answer.

According to him, ANC’s spokesperson (or should we say spin doctor), Zizi Kodwa, would explain the situation like this: “It portrays the movement in a perpendicular perfect imperfection as it approaches the iceberg.”

Asked to explain this pic, Zizi Kodwa said: It portrays the movement in a perpendicular perfect imperfection as it approaches the iceberg! 😂

People on Twitter have come up with some theories of their own about what the picture means.

One said the picture is a poster of a movie called I Am Sinking. It is directed by Gwede Mantashe and will be released during the 2019 elections.

Others have said: “This is democracy at work”, and “they will be in denial that the ship is sinking.”

What do you think the Zuma Titanic picture means?
